The Mission of the Connecticut Choral Society is to promote quality diversified choral music for the benefit of the singer as well as the listening audience. 

The Choral Society strives for high musical standards that encourage choral singing and performance.

Mission Statement

    Founded in 1980, the Connecticut Choral Society, Inc. is an ensemble of auditioned singers from more than 20 towns in Connecticut. Under the direction of Eric Dale Knapp, its members are committed to provide a music resource for Connecticut; to encourage singing and performing choral music of the highest artistic quality; and to stimulate greater appreciation and enjoyment of choral music.

    The Connecticut Choral Society has appeared at Carnegie Hall, toured internationally and performed on network television. Rehearsals are held weekly in South Britain, CT.

Our spring concert -- A Concert of Psalms --  held Sunday, April 27, was enjoyed by all who attended. Thank you to all who shared the afternoon with us, especially our families and friends. We loved singing with the young women of the Litchfield County Children’s Choir!
